May 28, 2014 -- Orlando Business Journal released The 2014 Best Places to Work Finalists. The Spine and Brain Neurosurgey Center is honored to be included among this list of dynamic Central Florida companies. The companies were chosen based on how workers responded to an anonymous online employee engagement survey with questions on topics including teamwork, job satisfaction and benefits.

October 2013 - Celebration Neurosurgeon Performs World’s First Mazor Robotics Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson’s. In August, Nizam Razack, MD, JD performed the world’s first deep brain stimulation (DBS) using Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System at Celebration Health hospital. Dr. Razack performed the same procedure later on two more patients with positive results.

October 25, 2013 -- Medicine controlled Clarita Beslack's tremors from Parkinson's Disease for five years.  Then something changed and by January 2013, she knew she needed a different kind of treatment.  She turned to Dr. Nizam Razack at Florida Hospital Celebration and he proposed a traditional approach with a new, unusual twist.  Razack wanted to use Deep Brain Stimulation, or DBS, to treat Beslack's Parkinson's symptoms.
